“Boulangerie” A Stunning 12×18 Photo, framed to 22×28
Inspired by Edward Hopper’s iconic painting “Nighthawks,” this framed photograph depicts Parisians shopping for bread and pastries in the pre-dawn hours at their corner bakery. While the painting and the photograph share similarities in structure and light, they are contrasted by their respective themes, Loneliness vs. Hopefulness. The photograph was taken in the 4th arrondissement of Paris in 2013 with an Olympus E-M5 and Olympus 17mm f1.8 lens @1/60 sec. The photographer is Jim Wickless, a Friends of Opera board member.
